Registration and Refunds: Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve the child’s space. Due to limited seats, refunds will not be given under any circumstances. There will be no proration of fees for any days a child participant cannot attend.

Age Guidelines: Explorlife Summer Camp is for children between the age group of 6 to 16 years. The participants will be divided into separate groups dependent on age for various activities.

Hours of Operation: Explorlife Summer Camp hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am- 4:30 pm. Dates for the camp are April 4th  – 25th May, 2018. Please do not drop off your child prior to the start time of camp.

Pick-up and Drop-Off Procedures: Children need to arrive between 8:45-9:00 am and must be picked between 4:30-5:00 pm. Parent/guardian must park their vehicle and walk their child into the Camp and sign the child into the Camp. The check-in area for the camp will be the front door of the house and not the gate at the entrance of the building.

Late Pick-Up Policy: Any late pick up’s need to be informed to the organisers at-least 2 hours earlier. Regular late pick-ups are not appreciated. Life Chefs would be at your service in case of any emergency.

Medical Needs/Allergies: Life Chefs is not permitted to administer medication to program participants. In the event of a medical emergency, we will move the kids to the closest hospital/ clinic and parents will be contacted. Allergy medications may be administered if directed in writing by the child’s parent/guardian.

Dress Code: Life Chefs organisers recommends cotton clothing for the children as its summer time, preferably shorts/ pants/ jeans  for boys and pants/ shorts/ skirts/ jeans for girls and a light coloured shirt / T-shirt or top. We recommend athletic shoe or sneaker for athletic activities.

Personal Belongings: Please put the child’s name on all articles. Children should not bring toys, mobile phones, electronic devices, jewellery or any possession of value with them to any of the programs. Children should not carry not more than Rs 200/- unless informed to the organisers by the parents/ guardian. Children will be responsible for their belongings.

Behaviour Management/Discipline Policy: Explorlife will have a fun environment for participants in the program. Children who do not respond positively or who are destructive to others or to property will be dealt with in a professional, positive, and timely manner to correct the behaviour. All incident reports will be discussed privately with parents/guardians. Children not correcting their behaviours will have to be expelled from the program. Smoking, consumption of alcohol or any drugs, intoxication substances is strictly prohibited and any violation will lead to expulsion of the child from the program with immediate effect. No refund of fee is applicable in case of expulsion.

Nutrition/Snacks: Children must bring their own morning and evening snacks along with lunch each day. No aerated beverages are allowed. Junk food should be avoided and parents should take special care to ensure that kids bring and eat a healthy diet. Please do not send gum, candy or any other forms of chocolates.

Water Sports: Children will need to bring a swim wear and towels for water sport days (the weekly schedule will be shared in advance). Cotton t-shirts, denim, or cotton shorts may be worn in during the water sport activities.

Waivers and Informed Consent

By signing this form, I, as parent/guardian, permit Life Chefs and Explorlife organisers to use pictures of my child(ren) as a program participant in promotional literature, videos, and the Life Chefs website. I understand my child(ren)’s name(s) will not be published. I, as parent/guardian, hereby assume all risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities at Life Chefs Explorlife Summer camp venues and transportation to and from the activities.

My Child is fit for the program(s) in which I have enrolled him/her. I HEREBY RELEASE AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS RELEASEES FROM EVERY CLAIM AND ANY LIABILITY THAT I OR MY CHILD MAY ALLEGE AGAINST RELEASEES (including reasonable legal fees and costs) AS A DIRECT OR INDIRECT RESULT OF INJURY OR DEATH TO ME OR MY CHILD BECAUSE OF MY CHILD’S PARTICIPATION IN ANY LIFE CHEFS – EXPLORLIFE SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERS TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. I PROMISE NOT TO SUE RELEASEES ON MY BEHALF OR ON BEHALF OF MY CHILD REGARDING ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO MY CHILD’S PARTICIPATION IN ANY LIFE CHEFS- EXPLORLIFE SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM(S). I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT, BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I AM RELEASING LIFE CHEFS, AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, FACILITATORS, MEMBERS, SPONSORS, PROMOTERS, ASSOCIATES AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY “RELEASEES”) FROM LIABILITY, AND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS. THIS SIGN UP AND RELEASE FORM IS A CONTRACT WITH LEGAL AND BINDING CONSEQUENCES AND IT APPLIES TO ALL ACTIVITIES IN WHICH MY CHILD ENGAGES DURING THE LIFE CHEFS EXPLORLIFE SUMMER CAMP, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH ACTIVITY IS A PART OF A FORMAL PROGRAM. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. I UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS RELEASE MEANS AND WHAT I AM AGREEING TO BY SIGNING. I understand that no insurance coverage for participants in these activities is provided by Life Chefs. By registering for this program, I understand and agree that if a portion of the program is unable to be completed due to unforeseen circumstances under responsibility of the Life Chefs, I will not be entitled to any refund of fee paid. I also understand that no refunds or pro-ration will be given for any other reason.
